I work with a woman that owned her own business for 35 years (I hear this everyday). She is always trying to control and supervise her coworkers (me included). I actually have senoriity and I am relied on for more responsibilities. This woman is a tyrant. She calls her coworkers white-trash and idiots when she is with me. I have to listen her tell me that "No one around here knows sh*t." I have asked her to try and work with everyone. I have told her this is not like owning your own business, your working for someone else now. She is determined to get fired everyone she cant stand. She keeps a note book and if she thinks anyone is doing something wrong she sits in the office and documents everything. She is extremely controlling. She has the bosses backed off because she keeps threatening "Union". I don't know how I can keep from smacking her eventually.

Any advice?

BTW my job is cleaning kennels all day, 8 to 10 hours a day. This woman is 52 years old and has the same job title, the same responsiblities and the (almost) same pay as me, she has not been there as long I have though. I personally think she can't handle the labor

It's easy for me ta' say but, "take it with a grain of salt". Unfortunately, there's always goin' ta' be a, "ROTTEN apple in every barrel"!!! I had the same thing happen to me workin' a cattle ranch, had this Ranch Foreman think he was G _ _ 's gift ta' knowin' all there was ta' know bout' cattle and horse's! I, like yourself just wanted ta' "cold c _ ck" him!!%!*%@!! Did a little regroupin' of my constitution and eventually left the job, HA' only ta' find out later that they turned him out to Sh_ t i_ r pastures ;o! Many of times I thought to myself where in the H _ _ l did the phrase, "patience is a virtue", come from!? Abalone girl, all this is easy for me to say, because it would be like me sittin' in the grandstands at a football game, hollarin' at a runnin' back on how he should have run the play differently, (corny analogy), but I honestly hope it works out for ya' ;)...

i think of the terrific thank you to tackle those types are to take the better floor...aka - do no longer pass out of your thank you to be propose lower back to the guy yet preferably be very friendly and respectful no count how she acts in the direction of you. needless to say, puzzling/rude co-workers produce different very own matters going on (that would not make it suitable to act like a jerk yet...) - so previously you may desire to bump into this guy or woman - take a deep breath and think of to your self 'ok, she would be propose/rude so I greater beneficial prep myself' and then maybe at some point she'll marvel you and be spectacular. ultimately, if she does something very disrespectful - you may desire to stand your floor. do no longer experience undesirable approximately protecting your self, and if she does something rather rude - be sure you ask to fulfill together with her privately and tell her what she did that indignant you...you by no ability be conscious of...maybe she would not comprehend how rude she rather is...maybe she desires a actuality verify??? stable success! One final difficulty...whilst she is rude - in basic terms permit it pass...the final difficulty you may desire to do is pass domicile and ***** approximately her all night on your individuals/relatives bc then you will permit her get the better of you. keep in mind - she might desire to have some distinctly crappy issues going on in her very own existence that motives her to be so rude for no longer obvious reason.

you guys may not be doing your job. if you are, then document things yourself. tell management that they are going to need to step in or you will look into bullying laws in your state. you will probably get fired so be ready. this lady will not go anywhere unless management wants it that way. they may have put her in there to get you to quit.
