What's the range of "now a days"? I seem to remember hearing this same question asked when I was in 7th/8th grade which was back in the mid 70's.
There's nothing sexually new in the modern culture. This all came to the fore in the 60's with the sexual revolution. It's really a 40+ year old phenomenon. It's just that today's parents know this and want to pretend it didn't happen back then and they try to perpetuate a lie that most people know isn't exactly forthright.
Pull out a 70s or early 80s HS movie and see if there was any sex in that. Try Fast Times at Ridgemont High for example. For something a little older (when your grandparents or even great grandparents were teens) see if you can find A Summer Place (1959).
Yep, it's true, there were "sluts" in school with mom and grandma, and great-grandma. Grandpa probably dated one or two. They were there then already. There were plenty of them. I know, I was dating them...

Because girls are bigger wannabees than even guys are. They crave the attention of others and will do whats neccessary to please their peers and themselves.
To find a virgin these days after the age of 18 means that society would label you a loser lol. This is how pathetic and moral-less or society has become. This is also why we have a 65% divorce rate, higher suicide rates, higher single parent home rates.
We have lost the ability to truely love one another. What a shame because we are as a society and people capable of so much better.

Why are people so judgmental? That's the real question. This isn't medieval times anymore. Stop being so nosy about other peoples sex lives. If you want to save it till marriage, then HEY GIRL!!!!!!! That's up to you. Do what you want but don't look down on those who choose to do otherwise, that's tacky and trashy.

because todays culture doesnt hold virginity in the "sacred" place that it used to. Sex is used to do everything now. like to sell things...milk...pants...phones....glasses.....shoes .... everything. We (society) influence the influential. We make it seem like sex is an unimportant recreational activity. we don't say anything about it being meant for someone that you love. Another thing is kids curiosity if you will. the same with drugs and alcohol. they want to know what it feels like.
Its stupid but its happening.
