See the dentist right away.
Hot moist compress though is effective for the swelling. Take in over the counter pain relievers like paracetamol, ibuprofen. And always remember, ANTIBIOTICS is only recommended by the dentist.

See a dentist asap. You need antibiotics to get rid of the infection and a root canal to take care of the tooth. As far as swelling take antiinflammatory such as motrin or advil.
