Yes if you sit and think about it then you will answer All of YOUR questions, because deep down inside we all ready now the answer to the question that we ask. And most of the time were looking for someone Else's approval and not necessarily the answer. So you know the answer before you ask.

Thinking gets in the way of "enlightenment." Meditation is the key.
Instead of sitting & thinking, try getting out and living. Answers always come to the true seekers.

no... absolutely not.
I mean, you will develop opinions and thoughts, but you will they will not be real (necessarilly). Real answers come from studying, and experiments, and observations. Not from sitting and thinking.
If you have studied or experimented or observed something, then you can sit and develop a hypothesis the test it again and see if you were right or wrong.
the "ANSWERS" come from imperical thought, observation, and testing.

If a toddler had just sat and thought, do you think he would be toddling around on two feet. No, he had to take a step and fall. Did that discourage?

For how long? If you're referring to meditation, they may. There is, after all, only one truth - just never stop asking questions. Keep asking "Why" and see where it goes.
Delearning is the key.

Not all..but most of it.
I tend to get more philosophical when I am at the computer.
When I am talking to someone, I am very blur.
