Delsym already taste funny!! It is a cough supressant call dextromethoraphan. The only reason that expiration dates exist is so that people will not stock pile medicine. Also, the longer a medicine exists, the weaker it gets. So chances are that your cough syrup will not work as well as it did the day you bought it!! You will be fine, no worries!!

Anything you drink or eat now, it will take eight full hours for digestion. By this time if there is any adverse effect by taking an expiry dated medicines it should have shown . So you need not worry and take full rest. Drink maximum water if possible. Make it point of throwing your unwanted medicines at least once in a month . Yours VRVRAO

Don't worry, that stuff has a strange taste anyway. The expiation date is there to let you know that it might not be as potent as it should be.
Go drink some water, brush your teeth anything to get rid of that icky taste.
Vanilla Wafers or Oreos should do the trick.

Hello!
You do not have to worry about any side effects. The worse that can happen is its just not going to be has effective as it might have been if you took dosage before experation date.
Hope you are feeling better now!

don't listen to those n00bs. you should have induced vomiting by drinking a little bit of ipecac solution or eat some charcoal. expired medicine is like expired milk... you can die especially dextrometrophan. contact your vet asap.

call your local pharmacy and speak to the pharmacist - they'll tell you if you need medical care or if you'll be fine.
