I would probably go visit there. Always heard how beautiful the state was. I won't go there now.....no way! I live in New Jersey. This place was GREAT 5 years ago. Now town after town is being taken over by illegals. The state is just flooded driving the entire middle class out.
Soon all that will be left is the rich and the illegal aliens. Trust me, America is losing the state of NJ...and many more states too but no one cares.
I have an invention. It will make me a multi, multi billionaire very shortly. Maybe a billionaire if I work it right. I have tried so hard to keep it manufactured here in the states. With all this giving the country to illegals, I am wondering, should I say to hell with it and take my invention and me to a nice place in Europe that has held onto it's country's traditions and not given the country up to illegals? Maybe Sweden, Switzerland where there are still cultures of tradition.
This country has no tradition anymore. It has become the tradition of illegal alien's homeland in every American town almost. I live smack in the middle of NJ. Main street in my town is all strolled by illegal aliens and all I hear is Spanish chatter as I walk down the street as they are all hanging on the corners. THERE ARE NO AMERICANS ON OUR MAIN ST. ANYMORE EVEN!
How many people like me that are so very lucky to own a product or a business who have had it and are thinking of going to another country? Let me tell you, there are MANY.
The cost goes on and on of illegals robbing the country state by state. Bush could stop it tomorrow with that national ID card they talked about. No ID card....no job.
I wrote a letter to John Kerry in the election. His team told me he read it. I told him this country simply can't survive another 4 years of Bush. Maybe 9/11 took it's toll on him, he needed to be replaced.
I was right, this country did not survive 4 more years of Bush. Look out my window and this is Mexico, Costa Rica, Nicaragua...or what ever the hell.....sure ain't America anymore.

What makes illegal Mexicans better than those that came here legally? You aren't suggesting that they are all illegal, are you? And really, only illegal Mexicans work hard? I guess there are some people that believe that. Hopefully not too many, though. To answer your question, it would be less crowded and still maintain it's diversity. Lower taxes, and jobs for citizens and legal residents.

Well, you would see a dramatic drop in crime, a huge drop in gangs, the streets would be cleaner, there would be more tax dollars being spent on acctual CITIZENS. there would be enough money in the system to supply the CITIZENS with housing, medical and job training.
The following 10 facts have been pulled from the LA Times.
1. L.A. County has 10 million people. 40% of all workers in L.A. County are working for cash and not paying taxes. This is because they are predominantly illegal immigrants, working without a green card.
2. Of the 10 million people in L.A. County, 5.1 million people speak English. 3.9 million Speak only Spanish.
3. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.
4. 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens.
5. Over two-thirds of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal whose births were paid for by taxpayers.
6. Nearly 25% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally.
7. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages.
8. The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegal aliens from south of the border.
9. Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.
10. 21 radio stations in L.A. are Spanish language only

The people waiting to become legal would be allowed to enter the country legally with no wait. The people being sponsored would be off the waiting list and allowed to join their families together. Illegals have no right cutting people in line and they disgrace their own people who are patient and have not broken laws to get their own way.

if all the illegal Mexican's where deported like they should be!! I might consider living there again. It was a great place when I lived there. Now, I hate to even go visit my two Brother's who stayed, I think, out of protest.
Maybe my old High School would not have graffiti (sp?) on it. Maybe my old neighborhood would be safe to walk the streets. Maybe one of my Brother's would send his exceptionally, bright Daughter back to a quality public school instead of her being privately educated.
Maybe it would be like the old days, when there was a widely, diverse population instead of a whole city taken over. Yeah, go ahead and say it isn't true. I've got vacation pictures.

Why are the Mexicans the only ones that come to mind when it comes to working hard. People all over the world would pay to come to the USA to work hard, and live here. Once again it is our choice who, when and for how long that can immigrate to our country, not the illegals, no matter how hard working or well intended

The improvements would be to many to name, but here's a few.
fewer low skill workers = higher pay for those who are left
less of a drain on the land (more water less pollution)
less of a drain on social systems (schools, police and medical care)

It would grow and prosper and get out of debt. But the movie stars would have to clean their own houses or pay a going rate. And all the Pollo Loco's would have to hire american teenagers like the rest of the fast food places.
