Yes, I am a sinner! My first husband ran off and left me with 3 kids to raise on my own! I did not hear from him nor does my grown children! I finally was remarried after getting a divorce. I have broken God's law many times! My sins pile up to heaven and are like filthy rags before the Lord. He will judge me come the Day of Judgment! Thank God, I can plead the blood of Christ over my sins! How precious is that blood! It is able to wash me clean from my sins.It is able to reconcile me with the Father! God is so good! My God's mercy is unending! What an awesome God to make provision for a sinner like me! Yes, I have big sins, but the God I worship is a BIG God! He is able and willing to forgive my sins! ALL things are possible with my God! I have broken the law over and over! Praise the Lord for His amazing grace! For it is by grace that we are saved!

I'm not sure of the # but something else concerns me. I could be wrong; but from the tone of your question I sense that you harbor no patience or grace for the Christians that have "broken the laws of the New Testament."(you mention divorce and remarriage) What about the other laws? Is there a different measuring stick applied to the other laws; or-- are they all equal? If a person lies about something (a very important law) do you perhaps hold the same distain for that Christian that you would for someone who divorces and remarries? I suppose that would only be fair, right? I'm just wondering. Well, I'm in trouble on both accounts. #1 When my little daughter (who adores her father) asked me, "Did Daddy hurt you, mommy?" and I take a deep breath knowing that this is very important to her, I answer, "No sweetie, of course not." I have lied, a BIG lie. I have broken a law of the new testament. And then, a year later, after trying my best to live within that nightmare, I divorced. No, I haven't remarried but maybe someday I will. And then......that would be another law broken. Thing is........only our father in heaven knows our pain and he knows how we lean upon him. Even when I break his laws he still loves me, cares for me and allows me to lean upon his love. God's heart has never broken from all the leaning I do on him. I can respect you and the knowledge that we will all be atoned but I can't help but know in my heart that only God knows our pain, the pureness of our heart and the intention of our actions. He alone knows ALL.

Thank God for Jesus Christ to set the record straight. We do not live under the law in the new testament, we live by grace of Jesus Christ. God hates divorce, however, because of the hardness of men's heart, God permitted men to give their wives a bill of divorcement. Women were been mistreated, because their husband didn't want them anymore, so Moses by God's direction, gave that law of divorcement. There are somethings, which are much more cruel than committing an adultery against your spouse, and God understands that, you must ask God for forgiveness nevertheless. God bless.

How about it is none of your business!!!
When a man comes to God he has been forgiven of every sin including adultery.
they are cast as far as the east is from the west.
I was raised around people like you, I lived in sin until 1994 because of this burden of evil you are spewing. It is called condemnation!
Thank God for real men of God who teach the truth and grace of God or I would still be stranded in sin.
If "so called " Christians are running around divorcing and remarrying, that is one thing.
Your question was a blanket statement that mirrors the pharisees of Jesus' day.
Why don't you try asking a question that will edify the Body of Christ?
You've got to be church of christ, free Holiness, or the branch of assemblies of god that has never grown out of the doctrines of western theology.
You don't even understand the scripture. I get irritated at this junk. I've seen people like you have kids and those kids grow up to do this very thing you are sitting in judgment about.
you will either change your doctrine, or lose your kids to the world.
wake up!

Are you angry because your husband dumped you despite his religious beliefs? Cause that's what it sounds like to me.
