my fiance and i went today to look at rings. i found one that i like and and it is 2 different bands. the first band is a princess cut single diamond. the second band is a wrap that has 2 bagettes and 4 round diamonds on each side. how am i supposed to wear it? the wrap or the main diamond band closest to my wrist? also, is this wrap supposed to be considered the wedding band or just an inhancer for the bigger diamond? thanks!

The wrap can either be worn as part of the engagement ring or used as the wedding band. I also have a wrap with diamonds and rubies around a solitare. I chose to wear these together as one ring and get a separate plain gold band for the exchange of rings. I wear all three together. It doesn't matter which order you wear it, wear them however you feel comfortable.

The wrap is considered your wedding band, and it goes on your finger first ("Closest to your heart"), then your engagement ring goes on. Your wedding band (the wrap) always is worn closest to the wrist, after you get married.

I love wraps..I like the look of the wrap enhancing the engagement ring, rather than just a solid band of gold behind the engagement ring (which sometimes takes away from the diamond). Just my opinion. I'm sure your rings will be beautiful!

The proper way to wear the ring is this:

The solitare is worn as the engagement ring and the wrap is saved until you say "I do".

The wrap is the "wedding band" and goes on first (clostest to your heart) and then the solitare fits intside of the wrap.

I bet it's beatiful on your hand! :o)

I used a wrap as my wedding ring. The wrap is worn closest to your wrist.

You can hold off and have it soldered after the wedding. It won't cause any harm to wear them unsoldered for a short while. Or you have them done before the wedding and don't wear your ring until after you're married. Make sure after they are soldered that you have it reappraised because they are now 1 unit and you want to make sure the whole set is covered and not just the engagement ring.
