different post or anything like that..if this helps..My husband is infantry with 1st Cav. out of Ft. Hood..currently in Iraq...I live in Ga. til he gets back and I can't find any information on it..so I was curious if there will be one next year.if so when...or if anyone knows where I can get the information on it..any information would be great....thanx

Mostly for Spring and fall, but there are others held for special events that different Army branches have. Theres dining in, thats just for military members, dining out, for military members and there spouses, then it gets into the various categories, spring and what not. Although most units have no more than two per year. Chances are your husbands unit will have one, but I doubt there will be any planning for it till everyone gets boots back on the ground at hood.

I don't know about the Army, but the Navy Ball is in October and the Marine Ball is in November. They are held around the time of each service's official birthday each year.
