It won't taste as good, but if you're not trying to impress anyone, you can just use water.

I've used evaporated milk before. Just added water to the can. That's about all I can think of. Unless you just melt a lot of cheese with butter, or you can use cream. Do you have that?
Just go get milk.

In this desperate situation, you can add the grated cheese straight into the hot cooked noodles with lots of butter and stir it in until it melts. You can add garlic or mustard for extra flavour.

It wont win any cooking awards, but it will taste perfectly acceptable.

Or if you have a can of tomato soup or sauce, use that. It won't be mac and cheese, but you need some form of liquid (and I don't think water would taste right) to help with the mac and cheese. Some people put ketchup on their mac and cheese, so you'd just be putting the tomato taste in it!

If you are makeing it with the boxed stuff, you can just mix the cheese mix stuff into the noodles, the water will make it saucey, just dont use alot of water, the stuff on the noddles should be fine. This is how i always make it, and i think its better then with milk :)

Butter will work, for extra flavor add some cream cheese or real cheese. There are many ways to make box mac n cheese better...Good luck
