Lots of taxis or shuttles although most are centered around the Airport. However; If you are staying at any of the major hotels, they will provide transportation from the airport. They will also call transportation for you at any time. No worries mate. It works the same here as pretty much every where else in the States.
Have fun. Kauai is really beautiful and Princeville is great.

The bigger hotels in Princeville often have cabs standing by (or at least a phone call away). Your best bet would be to catch a cab from the airport to your hotel and ask them for a business card so that when you need to go somewhere you can just call them.

I would suggest you rent a car though.......it will be much more economical for you to pay a rental fee than pay a cab for transporation around Kauai.

Yes, though most of them start/end at the Lihue airport, you should have no trouble getting from the airport to Princeville or vice versa.
