D. (Maybe. Assuming you did the math right but 2 equal errors somewhere could still show an equal balance at trial yet it would be wrong.)

It indicates only that the debits and credits are equal.

(D) is the answer.

There could be numerous errors and yet the dr and cr could be equal.
