In terms of a religious path, it was chosen for me. After my birth, the church was the first public place I was taken. My mother expected me to be a priest and very much made that clear, even during my toddler years. She wanted to give me to God, as she put it. There was no question about what religion I'd be, or what path I'd be taking. However, when I was a teenager, my parents died, and I began doing a lot of research on my own. I am still a member of the church I was raised in, but now I'm there by choice and conscious decision. I'm still quite open to studying other beliefs, but haven't yet found anything that touches me spiritually as much as my own church. As for my career path, I didn't become a priest. I'm going into teaching, instead.

You map out you own life based on the choices you make. No higher power has "planned" anything for you. The only time that would apply is when you are a kid and have to do what your parents tell you. Once you become of age and are able to make your own choices, then it's all about you my friend.

I walk my own path and no one, not god, not the government, not anything can change the path i choose. A path that is already chosen is pre-determination which was a rule of old puritain religion. So my opinion is that no one has had their path already planned out, unless they themselves planned it.

Definitely find my own. Someone may be throwing hints occasionally, but I choose to accept them or ignore them. My path, my choice. The joys of free will.

I have my own set of beliefs despite religion and law. I also have my own set of values and morals despite it. So yes Im pretty much going my own path.

Destiny is something we make for ourselves.
Fate is what happens if you don't.
