That would be all of us.
Ecc 7:20 For [there is] not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.
1Jo 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

I don't agree. Everything we do is a sin. We are born into sin. There isn't a human being alive that has not sinned. If you think about all the things you do on a weekly basis, you will find that more than half of them is a sin. Doesn't mean we lack any sense. Even people who commit major sins like murder have the good sense to not do it. They know the difference between right and wrong, they simply choose poorly.

You may want to define "sin" properly first, any malicious intent(intent to harm others for whatever reasons) when acted upon is sin. So when you commit sin you are basically trying to harm others and the same comes back to you.
It simple doesent make sense at all.

I think they are human, just like you and me....except that I have better spelling and grammar...and if not I know how to use the spell check.
Romans 3:10 says: "There is none righteous, no not one." None means nobody, not a single one.
Romans 3:23 says : "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." All means every person past, present and future.
I think thats pretty clear, don't you?

The English word sin was used in archery contests. It means to fall short, or miss the mark. Making mistakes to me however is not real sin. Real sin is knowing when does wrong and they do it anyway.

Not necessarily. Sins are often committed out of forgetfulness and even noble motivations. Only those sins that are intentional and committed because they 'feel good at the time' definitely lack good sense.

The time when we are obsessed in the thought of God (to me Krishn) or His atributes or His saints or His abode, is the only time we are not committing sin.
We lack good sense most of the times, or rather at all times.

I think people who sin (ie all of us) are usually lacking in some area of understanding and this causes them to make errors. Since we all have finite minds, when sin results, it is usually because of a lesson we have not yet learned.
We all have different sins because of our different inner personal characteristics. For some the sin is pride, judgment, hurting other people, etc. For others the sin is fear, lack of moral integrity and having no respect for themselves.
For instance, I have always been very self-confident... yet as a child I continually hurt people's feelings with my blunt speaking. I never meant to... I just didn't understand what other people felt when I said certain things. On the other hand, my self-confidence meant that I never gave in to peer pressure... always did what I thought was right. Moral integrity was pretty easy for me, but humility and patience are something I have to work towards.
It took some harsh lessons for me to learn compassion and patience (still working on the patience part!)
On the other hand, my mother has always been very empathic... she never hurts people (on purpose) but is so tolerant that she rarely knows how to give good guidance... either to herself or others. She would always tell lies in order to avoid conflict ... This created many problems in my family.
So you see, we all have both our strengths and weaknesses... sometimes the strength is the same as the weakness.
So yes, people sin because of lack of understanding... and we are all here on earth for the purpose of learning and thus overcoming those spiritual deficits.
By offering forgiveness to all (including ourselves) it opens the way for all people to feel safe to overcome their weaknesses, so they no longer need to hide them. If we value everyone (in spite of sin) we begin to see things as Jesus did... in terms of our potential, rather than our current status. Knowing our potential for light and knowledge gives us great hope!

Absolutely. Common sense can tell you that if you steal, kill, commit adultery, etc., you will be caught or ruin your life and/or someone else's because of it. So don't sin and live well. And yes.....I know that is easier said than done.
