According to "The Inferno" by Dante, and yes, I know its fiction, Agnostics who are "virtous" go to Hell. The Hell that he desribes is quite different from what most people imagine, and is broken up into 9 circles. A virtous Agnostic would, according to Dante, reside in the 1st Circle, also known as Limbo, it is similar to the classical concept of the Elyssian Fields in that it is peacefull, and has large, rolling fields of grass with a seven walled castle in which all of the "Great Pagans" of the past live such as Aristotle, Plato, and Caesar. Im not saying that I believe this concept, I'm only stating what Dante wrote.

Responding to God is what matters.

Church is the way man invented to worship God in a group setting, but your relationship with God is most important.

If you are put off by the idea of church, ok. Don’t let that come between you and a relationship with God. It’s just too important.

God’s nature is love, compassion and justice. Get to know Him, not any particular church’s interpretation.

The best way to get to know God is to simply talk to Him, and to read what Christ says.

There are no good people. You may think you are good compared to other people, but God wants 100% perfection as was originally intended. So yes, you are required to recieve salvation.

Religion is the opium of the people. A church is the extracter of money and the polluter of minds. Get over it. Religion only exists to exert mind control over malleable people to take their money and to dominate their thoughts. Spend some time reading Jean-Paul Sartre.

i'm not one for making predictions as to anyone's ultimate fate...nor am i qualified or justified in judging...Christ said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." He never indicated any particular denomination. now, there are a lot of faiths and belief systems in this world, and each one has its own ideas on the matter-i'm not about to tell you 'believe mine or burn!'...all i'm doing is sharing what Christ said-it's my personal faith, and it works in my life-

The church-goers will say it is--but they have to say that or they'd have to admit they've wasted an awful lot of their lives sitting in churches being bored to death while singing badly.

The church is a requisite for any church officials. The Saducees and Pharisees require church.

If not heaven, I hope we at least go to some sort of Limbo. It's not bad, but it's not very good either.

unless they acknowledge god and submit to him in their lives...they go to hell..

their own standards of goodness cannot get them into heaven...only the work of Jesus can.....he did not die for us so that we could do what we wanted and make our own rules.
