Imagine this,

You're in a small college classroom; a classroom where you will spend the next 1.5 hrs with a sweaty Calculus professor and a roomful of college students. If that's not torture, now add the most foul, repugnant mouths smell you've ever smelled as the general aroma of this air-tight lecture room.

It seems like that more than 50% of the students in my class never brush their teeth. There're even a couple of students who when they breath in my direction (even if it’s with their mouths closed, exhaling through their nostrils) for just a fleeting second, my whole body shakes in disgust. Perhaps only the smell of a decaying corpse is worse ( and even that not by much).

What the heck is wrong with you people. It takes more than applying a measly deodorant in the morning to not "smell."

How do you tell someone that their breath smells worse than their feces? Or should I not bother and completely disregard the smelly ones (but that’s half the people).

I wish the smelly ones would all congregate in one corner of the room, so I can sit in the other =(

imagine working in a dental office. You don't just smell the stuff you need to clean it off for them.

What can I tell you? I live in New Mexico. In the little hick town where I live, almost everybody has full dentures by the time they are 40. This horrifies me, as I come from a family where my 92 year old Daddy still had 4 of his original, well-maintained teeth when he died. The majority of these rednecks could gag a maggot with their breath.
Did you know the toothbrush was invented in Roswell? If it had been invented elsewhere, they would have called it the teethbrush.
You could ask the nurse to come to your classroom and hand out free toothcare kits. Hand out mints. Wear a medical mask with a dab of mentholatum inside to drown out the smell. Tell people it's to prevent vomiting. Best wishes, college kid.

OK, so I'm guessing your college degree will not have anything to do with either the healthcare or human services fields...

Your professor has earned the right to sweat... he's already made it through college and has come back to share his knowledge with you. And besides, while you're only in the room for 90 minutes, he's in there longer.

If it's that upsetting to you about your fellow students, have your schedule changed and transfer to a different class if you really need to.... or wait until next semester, which will just drag out getting your needed credits and push your graduation date to a later time.

no longer one in all your extra constructive innovations! A toothpaste with bicarbonate of soda ought to help, yet while the the teeth is for sure a creamy coloration, you're making might desire to hunt for help out of your dentist if it bothers you.

Amen! I work at an OB/GYN office, and I can kind of understand the kind of smell ur talking about. I think what's worse with yours is if your class is in the am. Which is morning breath galore. You probably hold ur breath when one of them talks to u, huh?
