I thought over a day over what my Uncle had said about some stuff.
And.
There really isn't proof of god its more a matter of faith and love and trust and if your willing to take those steps to your religion choice. Just religions argue cause, they all want to be RIGHT and "prove something."
Evolution I believe has no proof you can't prove that the big bang happened and many other things they have theories on you can't prove you'd have to be back in time.

Although all that I am a Catholic still and a faithful one but, you can't really prove god exist all we have is historical text and artifacts.
Evolution I believe you can't prove that much of a deal.

Plus,
Interestingly.
We could possibly be from monkeys,.
God supposedly made humans on the 6th day.
And Monkey and other animals were made before.

For the millionth time, the Big Bang has nothing to do with evolution.

#1: The Catholic Church accepts the Theory of Evolution.

#2: Evolution has almost nothing to do with the Big Bang Theory....they are two distinct (but equally valid) theories

#3: There is ample evidence for both evolution and the Big Bang theory. Most evidence is easily understood and observable, you just need to take the trouble to read and understand it. Much of the evidence, however, is nuanced and difficult to grasp...however, that doesn't mean you should blithely say there is no evidence.

#4: "Monkey" has no real meaning. There is no species of "monkey" that evolution claims we descended from. Anti-science folks want to make you believe that science claims we descended from Chimps in a zoo....that is utterly not true.

#5: Take a good hard look at the "historical text and artifacts" you claim. You will find them very lacking (I know, I used to be Catholic and after reading the history of Christianity, am an atheist). I suggest the book "Misquoting Jesus" and reading every link on www.earlychristianwritings.com (they have Catholic, secular and fundamentalist analysis of those texts...it's very fair).

Neither religion nor science is out to "prove" things with 100%, objective certainty. The only time you find "proof" is in mathematics.

Religion is about personal, subjective experiences. You can't prove or disprove the existence of God with logic. Either a person attributes something to a deity or doesn't.

Science however, deals with objective EVIDENCE, and things that can be tested with the scientific method, NOT subjective experiences. Science tries to find the best explanation for a given situation that shows consistency over and over again, to the point where to not accept the model would be ridiculous.

It is extremely short-sighted and naive to think that there's no evidence for evolution, or that it can be called a "belief". There's tons of data to support evolution. Also, cosmology has nothing to do with evolution. But even then there's ample evidence for things like the big bang. And this isn't an "either/or" thing.

There is plenty of proof for evolution, with a massive fossil record showing millions of transitional forms and myriad ways of dating remains.

God is more difficult to prove, although in God's case it's a question of faith rather than proof.

Genesis does not stand up as a literal account, but it could conceivably be what the people of that age thought had actually happened. On the other hand it could be allegory, metaphor or even just a load of rubbish. Nobody will truly ever know and this will continue to be argued long after all of us are dead.

You're getting close to the conclusion I made, long ago when I was your age. (when dinosaurs roamed the Earth... :-) )

Science shows us how the world was made, Religion tells us why. Where fossil evidence and archeology conflicts with scripture, we have to assume scripture is a parable, not just a fact. Parables carry deeper meanings that need to be thought about. The Good Samaritan wasn't just a nice guy Jesus happened to mention, and The Mustard Seed wasn't a gardening tip.

I'd suggest reading some books by Stephen Jay Gould explaining how nature's laws seem to work, and ask yourself "How amazing it is that nature seems to work so well."

God is a hell of an architect I think.

I hope this helps?

Evolution is about as proven as any science can be. Methinks many creationists have horribly misinterpreted the word "theory." A theory is not just a guess. A theory is a group of facts used to explain something about how the world works. Most things that even a creationist would consider proven (e.g. gravity) are theories.

There are lots of people who believe in science and in God. There is a lot of scientific evidence for evolution, and for astronomical ideas like the Big Bang. Don't let other people lead you into false choices. Scientists have faith and love and trust just like any other group.

you know all people are different has their own option with religions and no religions i can tell you that because, all type religions are the same but with different styles, if you study the human be is one animal with mind or brain to do wear or normal thinks for your self, it is the same think to describe one woman for me it is a moon what i see every nigth, well if you describe a god or angel or what ever name is okay because the minding are the same with different type of world, if you see look the bible they think 6 days is month ninth and that all, but if we see the sciences the have proves we come from energy and it complement our bodies that why we life like that all the time and people like to check out all different aspects, you can be open with all, and it is fine you don't have to be life in one god you have to be life in your self for make your need dreams come true all will be happened when you think or make it for your self and that make one evolution to your own self

There is extensive evidence for both the big bang and evolution. Open your eyes and look at it. You can't prove I exist, but it does not negate the evidence I exist.

... God has no evidence supporting it's existance. But Evolution has such a gigantic multitude of evidence, it's more supported than most scientific theories out there. Oh, and the Big Bang has absolutely NOTHING to do with Evolution.

Oh and by the way, science doesn't deal with proof. It deals with things that most likely occurred based on the evidence available. Proof is for math and alcohol.

What you should be looking for is evidence, not proof as absolute proof is not possible in these cases.

When examining the evidence, one has to be sure that it is viewed entirely objectively. As soon as subjectivity enters the equation, the evidence is compromise and rendered useless.

Therefore, there is evidence for all these things. Just not enough for any to claim proof. and as experimentation in these areas is beyond our capability, the evidence is all that remains.
