ok there's this guy.
and i like him.
and we flirt.
and finally my friend asked him if he "liked" me.
and he said yes.
and no.
no because he didn't know if i liked him.
and because there's a girl who he dates off and on and the girl is still in LOVE with him.
well he got really excited when my friend told him i liked him and before that the first thing he said was to ask where i was.
but i dunno what's going to happen.
do you think he will stay away from me just because of the other girl?
or not?

well awhile back he was making out with this girl...this is before we really got close so i don't think he was being a jerk...and i made some kind of funny comment about it as a joke and he got all defensive about it and said he didn't really want to and he regretted it.
that's when i 1st got the notion he might like me

It is okay to have a lot of platonic friends. However, you can only have one love interest. Hence this guy has to make up his mind if he still wants to date his supposed ex-girlfriend or be with you.It does not matter if his ex is still in love with him, he either ends it permanently or resume seeing her.Unless he is a player who wants to have his cake and eat it too, he can't be making out with her while claiming to want to be with you.If he is defensive about her and his continued dealings with her, then my suggestion is to not have anything to do with him; or you will be opening your self to abuse and been used.Don't make any excuses for him unless you have no self-respect or are a masochist.I do not think you are either.
