what do you guys think of other christians who preach or try to enforce their beliefs onto others. like today this guy who was at the college I go to who was saying that all jews, hebrews, jws, gays, mouthy women, etc are going to hell. And I mean like he really went at it and people asked questions but he couldnt answer them and yet kept insisting that every other religion is false.

So yeah, what do you guys think of people like this who enforce, not offer but enforce(or try to anyway) onto others.

I swear, he acted like god told him to spread the word when he couldnt answer half the questions others asked and I swear, he just kept going on and on. Do you christians think people like him give christians a bad name?

Hey dear. Believe me. Christianity is a wonderful peaceful beautiful religion. It's people that make others turn from it. I know because I was once Christian and I allowed people to push me away for a few years and I studied about 15 other world religions which interested me. Though I'm back to Christianity again, this time I read the bible and found that a lot of things I was hearing Christians saying were actually going against what the bible taught. And I come to think, a lot of Christians don't live according to the word, hardly at all. So don't worry. I think true Christians have a relationship with their Lord, and false ones only focus on being more religious, condemning others, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. Don't let words bother you =)

All I've ever told to anybody, no matter what religion I was part of, was that I was here if they had any questions, but I never deliberately went out of my way to preach about it. I might bring something up here or there but not a forceful fact causing argument.

He shouldn't be preaching and saying who is going to hell. That's only for God to decide on the day of judgment. He is spreading his own convictions and trying to force it on others. Being a Christian you love and accept all people: "Jews, Hebrews, jws, gays mouthy women etc." and if the Lord leads you to say something in a LOVING manner than you will but NO this person was wrong and YES some Christians make all Christians look bad. He couldn't answer the questions because he had NO business saying those things and the Lord did not lead him to in my opinion; my experience the Lord doesn't work that way. That is no way to share Christs' love and encourage people to believe no way whatsoever.

These militant types give TRUE Christianity a very bad name. But then again, the Bible says:

Luke 6:22  Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.

John 15:18  If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

1 John 3:13  Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

GOD bless

Christ said. "Not everyone that cries Lord Lord will make it."
That many will say, "Didn't we cast out demons and do many great works in your name?" And Christ will say, "I never knew you."
Why? Becaue of their self-righteous attitudes, and the fact they turned others away from God with it! Though God understands this, and won't hold it against the innocent.
The Word says those that claim to speak for Christ will be held doubly responsible.

I always laugh at them. Who's given them the authority to be judge and jury over other peoples lives? They're not going to convince/convert many people with that type of behavior but it will drive them further from religion.

they at the instant are not Jews via fact Jew's don't think the messiah has come yet. they don't have confidence Jesus so believing in Jesus and asserting your Jewish of course contradicts one yet another.... that's unhappy that there are those Evangelist Christians that decision themselves "Jews". end this custom now, your disgracing the two Judaism and Christianity.

God commands us to
" Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all who will listen"

He was doing what he was commanded by God, thru scripture, to do.

He should have gotten better training first though it sounds like

They're rude and they hurt their own cause (which bugs me because it's also, at base, my cause). If they can't even relate to people in a reasonable way, why should I believe they have some kind of wonderful relationship with God?

I'm a christian and he sounds like a frickin' shiite christian! Don't judge good faithful people on the basis of extremists who have obviously forgot to take their meds.
