If your boyfriend has a female friend who always phones him when she's drunk and gets a little stroppy with him sometimes and generally texts him a lot and gets annoyed if he doesn't go out for a drink with her when she's in town, does this mean she's after him?
And if so, what can you do to feel okay about it without coming across like an annoying jealous girlfriend? Are there any good methods to subtly get her to back off without telling your boyfriend you don't want her acting like that?

If you can't be honest & direct w/ your boyfriend about how this other girl's behavior bothers you, she really isn't the problem.
Your boyfriend is the one you need to talk to directly rather than trying to manipulate people around him. You need to be confident that he will respect your feelings. If he doesn't, then he isn't worth having.

If he Truly cares for you he wouldn't have been texting another girl. He doesn't sound like you could trust him. If it is not this girl it will be another. A fella that is truly crazy about you or in love with you is only thinking about you. If that is the type you want in a relationship don't fall short and settle for a guy just because he takes some time with you. Set your goal high and stick to it. You will thank yourself later.
