When I hit the showers at the rec center where I workout I always find myself in an awkward position because at the same time the kids from swimming lessons are finishing up and ending up in the showers too, and since these are younger children it is very often that their moms end up in the men's room too. Sometimes moms are everywhere helping their kids take a shower or dress them up. All these women in the men's showers make me feel uncomfortable because I am walking around naked in front of them and I am not sure if I am inappropriately exposing myself? I have no problem with them seeing me naked but I am not sure if I make them feel uncomfortable and they are just there to help their kids. Trouble is that this is the only hour I can shower because I need to get to work from there. Should I be more conservative and wear shorts?

No. You have a right to be there. The mothers don't. If it were just a kids class, they could be in there, but it's not. Talk to the manager and make sure mom's are not there. Have him enforce it. That' s not fair to you.

Keep you eyes on your own body and control your dick. If you feel like you might be getting an erection, turn around or try to keep it out of sight. Unless the other guy is getting hard too. But that's another question.

Talk to the manager and tell them there's a problem with women in the men's shower area.

If these kids aren't old enough to help themselves in the shower- they should be in the ladies' room with their mothers!!!

This is a very unfair situation to you.

The mothers shouldn't be in there. That's really wrong.

When I was little, my mom and all the other moms would bring their kids into the women's room. Kids don't have a concept of sexuality, mothers do.

Try talking to them nude, might scare them back to their own restroom.

Well to be perfectly honest, the sign at the door says Men not whoever the hell want to join in. But it doesn't sound like that is going to change. I would personally just wear some shorts or something just to protect myself against the one wacko that wants to accuse you of being a pedophile.

My understanding is that the change room the child goes into depends on the gender of the parent with them.

Dad with daughter, into men's change room.

Having the women in a men's room is eqivalent to having a man changing his daughter in the women's room.

Go report this to the center and tell the women to stop getting their free show in.

The mothers shouldn't be in there. I always see lots of mom's take their little boys to the women's restroom. I mean, are the mom's just going in there to see if there's a naked man in there or something?

No, the mothers should bring their boys to the womens room. If they are too old for the womens room they should change themselves. That's crazy that there are grown women in the mens room. Tell someone at your gym that that's inappropriate.
