hi there - we chose the Bellagio for our wedding which was held on their terrace overlooking the lake and fountains. That was wonderful! Most of the hotels have lovely chapels, and I particularly liked the Venetian, Luxor and Mandalay Bay.
The website below lets you browse all the chapels and search wedding packages by cost. Good luck!

my gut instinct was to say Mandalay Bay. It's a very pretty hotel. The bellagio is very nice as well.
It really all depends on how much you are willing to spend.
As for kids, how young are they? Down the hall from the chapel in Manadalay there is a HUGE indoor aquarium. I went with my cousins last year and we really enjoyed, and we were 20, 17, and 16, so it's really good for all ages. It's also right near Excalibur and New York New York which are very kid friendly hotels and have midway games and HUGE arcades for kids. It's especially good if you have someone that's going to be a nannie specifically to look after the kids so you can go to a club or somewhere to celebrate for your reception.
Bellagio is more in the middle of the strip, but the more elegant the hotels they less they have things that cater to children.

Hi and congratulations!
Well, my absolute FIRST CHOICE would be the Bellagio. It is 5 star and soooo beautiful! But, it could also be very expensive. Go on their website to look at weddings:

Another nice one is the Venetian. Here is their website.

A new hotel is The Wynn - also a 5 star hotel. They were just building it when I was there, but it looks fabulous.

The Mandalay Bay is nice, but is way at the end of "the strip." It is very big, though, and is very nice as well. There are other places to get married too - not just at the hotels on the strip. Another person asked this question a few nights ago, and someone gave them a nice hotel OFF the strip that also looked really nice -- a golf course, if I remember. It looked very nice...but I can't find that answer now.

I got married in Vegas and did a lot of shopping around (all of the hotel websites have information on their packages). The Bellagio is very nice, but very expensive. Mandalay Bay was also nice, but expensive. Caesars, I did not like their chapels. The Venetian was okay, but I didn't like their packages. After looking at all of the sites, I selected the Paris Las Vegas. They have options as unique and inexpensive as getting married at the top of the Eiffel Tower, or as elegant as in their large chapel. The package I got included one night in one of the suites. I was able to customize my wedding flowers and the photographer was very accommodating.
It sounds to me as if Bellagio might be more your style, but I would just recommend shopping the hotel websites, investigating their wedding packages, and even calling the hotels and asking whatever questions you want answered.

I got married 5 years ago at Monte Carlo. The chapel is very nice. It is a French garden theme, but not tacky. They took care of everything including:
all flowers, music (I picked my own), minister, video, photos, champagne, and frame for marriage cert. The cost was $400 total. You can get several packages at all different price ranges. That goes for ALL hotels. If you are having guests, I would suggest going to the buffet at the hotel. Monte Carlo even sectioned off an area for my "reception" of 25 people. They were VERY nice!!! Good luck!!

I agree that the Bellagio is gorgeous, but there are a lot of other places like Paris, The Wynn, etc. Just stay away from Circus Circus and The Stratosphere, that end of the strip is a little shady! Here are some sites that may help! Good luck!

we got married in Vegas 2 months ago, but we didn't get married at a hotel chapel but at the Las Vegas Weddin Chapel just off the strip. They gave us a great package deal. However I did see the chapel at the Excalibur and it is quite nice.

I don't know about hotels, but there are also some nice chapels there. My sister used Chapel of the Flowers and my friend used Little Church of the West - it's right on the strip...

The Bellagio. They could even program the water fountain to set of as they pronounce you man and wife. You can also select the song and water show....my best friend went this route, and it was gorgeous! Depending on how much you want to spend and what day--flowers, decor, food, hair....everything can be taken care of for you.
