I agree 100% with you, calling this attack "demonic"
any normal 'person' would never do such a thing!
I said 'demonic' because the bible tells us in Revelation 12 : 7-12 about ,"war broke out in heaven: Micheal and his angles battles with the dragon, and the dragon and it's angles battled 8)but it did not prevail, neither was a place found for them any longer in heaven. 9) so down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and satan, who is misleading the entire enhabited earth, AND HIS ANGELS WERE HURLED DOWN WITH HIM.
12) on this account be glad you heavens and you who reside in them! Woe for the earth and the sea, BECAUSE THE DEVIL HAS COME DOWN TO YOU HAVING GREAT ANGER, knowing he has a short period of time.
please bear in mind that the devil's 'angels' are actually 'demons'
I just don't see how anyone can NOT say that this was a demonic act!
people just can't let such horrific events occur and blame them on 'parenting' , or some other slack reason.
why not put the blame where it belongs???
the culprit is the person(s) that allowed themselves to be under the negative demonic influences.period.

That's horrible, simply horrible. I am more and more frightened every day at the depravity of the American public. I have a variety of theories as to why we are going so far down hill, but none of them could account for killing a baby for no apparent reason, unless it was one of those "they only grow up to be what we hate" kind of things. I am told the KKK has done things like that, but who else could be so completely vicious?
The victims' name sounds Spanish. I wonder if it was racially motivated. There's a lot of tension between Mexican-Americans and Mexicans on the one hand and Anglo-Americans on the other out there in California. But this is way, way over the top.
P.S. I note that many people commented on your use of the term "demonic." I had assumed you just meant that metaphorically, not literally. Indeed, they might well be fundamentalists who figure it's no loss because the child will go straight to heaven. But I do agree they should be punished most severely. Maybe putting them in with the rest of the prison population would be the right thing. Prisoners tend to be extremely vengeful toward people who hurt children.

Shocking Jason, terrible. Words cannot describe how we feel when we read these things. If we are upset, imagine how Jehovah feels when he sees all these things going on worldwide.
It wasn't his purpose that anyone suffer or die like this, it's heartbreaking but he will put things right, and soon
What would we do without our hope for the future?
Your use of the word demonic is correct.
The bible tells us that the world is lying in the power of Satan.
1 John 5:19
He and his demons promote the violence & hatred that we're experiencing today. He started death for mankind back in the garden of Eden when he had no regard for the human race & he continues it today. This doesn't necessarily mean that these people are literally possessed by demons but that demonic influence is felt earthwide & they are moulded by it. (of course they could be literally possessed, only Jehovah knows) Either way, they will get their comeuppance when Jehovah rids the earth of wickedness very soon & all these terrible things will be a thing of the past
Psalm 37:9-11
We look forward to that day with eagerness

That's disgusting to the core. How can anyone justify shooting an infant? It's not as if a child could arm itself. Not to mention the young father, who is my age.
However, I don't think it's a demonic act. It's two people sinking to the worst depths of human behavior (violence) against innocent people.
Edit: Ok, I'll accept your secular use of "demonic," as in cruel or heinous. But I don't think this event had anything to do with the supernatural.

I bet those guys were self declared Christians, their religion would have been brought up by Fox News otherwise. That is awful what happened there. Those guys are going to need to be in solitary confinement as the other prisoners would no doubt murder them, which I hope does happen anyway and that they die an agonizing death.
EDIT: you know it is ironic that you call baby murdering demonic when it had been done over and over again by the Israelites, with their tribal god's blessing of course, in the Bible to dash their rivals babies to pieces.
Also, the meaning of demonic originally was simply that of the supernatural, however as time passes the meaning of words change, obviously Christianity's popularity is the reason that the word demonic is now an adjective for cruelity.

I think it's an atrocity, and an absolute horror of humanity, but I don't see how that's demonic. Man makes his own choices with no need for help from demons or outside influences. It's our free will that makes us human. Free will does not dictate good, or even sane choices. As there was no apparent evidence of ritualism or cult-relation, I think it's a poor way to excuse the nature of man by trying to blame something other than the people who did it.

I'd say this is another sign of being in the Last Days.
10 years ago we would never hear of such a thing, now we hear of mothers setting their children on fire. This happened the other day in Texas.

Yes, that's one usage of the word. But using a word "demonic" on a form specifically for religion and spirituality is misleading, as it would imply the more metaphysical meaning of "demonic".

It's sad but all things including the evil ones work together for the good of those who love God!
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Rom. 8:28

That's horrifying and tragic, however I don't think it's demonic.
Attributing a supernatural cause to such senseless, horrific acts takes away from the responsibility these men had for their own actions.
They did it, and they should bear the weight of guilt and punishment for their actions - not some pitchfork wielding boogieman.
