Its not a question. It IS for real, regardless if you believe it or not. Don't listen to the skeptics, they're just ignorant to the charts and facts.

It is not a matter of opinion. It is a matter of science. Even a poll of scientists will not answer this question for you, because it will not tell you whether the 99% of scientists who think it is real are right, or whether the 1% of scientists who doubt it is real are right. The only way to answer this question is to review the scientific literature on it, and test it to see if it is right. Or you could just sit back and watch as the predictions of those who proposed this theory have come true. Every year the percentage of CO2 in the atmosphere is going up, and the temperature is going up also.
By the way, it is interesting to note that not very long ago there were a large number of people who denied that global warming was even happening. Now you will note that these people are not denying it; they are just arguing that human activities are not causing global warming. But they generally give no reasons for believing that the huge amounts of CO2 that humans have been generating are having no impact. Rather, it just seems to be something that people want to believe, as in, how can us little humans have an impact on this great big earth? The fact is that our impact on the earth can and has been measured. Or as Pogo said a long time ago, we have met the enemy and he is us.

Yes, and it's destroying our world. The ozone layer is another issue too. There is already more than half of our world with barely any ozone layer, and global warming is destroying that even more. So far, the ice is melting in the poles. There is a complete hole with exactly no ozone layer in the south pole. That ice is melting, and global warming is causing it along with that hole in the layer. Soon that ice will melt over and flood many parts of the Earth. This is all the ways global warming can kill us.
FLOOD
THE SUN CAN MELT OUR SKINS
THE OZONE WILL CREATE HEAT AND THE WATER WILL DRY AND THERE WILL BE NOTHING TO EAT OR DRINK
Thank you for listening to that. So the answer is yes: global warming is real, and bad.

Have you seen any objective evidence? Most reports say maybe, probably, likely or other vague terms. How can science be so sure that it is really happening when only 100 years ago, high tech was an out house. And besides, more people die from cold than hot. There is a growing group of scientists that believe the theory is flawed and that if global warming is in fact occurring it is only part of a 300-1500 year cycle and that we flatter ourselves when we think we as humans can really affect global climate.

Well, yes it is. Is it all MAN'S doing? NO! It's part of the natural process the world goes through. However, I DO agree that man has not been good stewards of the earth. We have been depleting our natural resources, and throwing stuff into the atmosphere that does speed up the process somewhat. Those things, we DO need to stop doing. But nothing we can do, or can hope to do, will actually STOP global warming.

Yes and it's a shame some ppl ignore the fact that Global Warming is taking place and is a serious issue. By doing a little self research, the proof is in writing and facts to back up the proof submitted.

Yes, but the cause may not just be fossil fuels. We've bombed the h out of Afganistan and Iraq with spent uranium in the bombs. That means alot of radiation is loose that wasn't before 2001.... maybe there's more than one reason the hottest weather has been in the last 5 years. If the truth were known.....it probably wouldn't be told.

Sadley, yes. EVERY DAY we destroy the enviornment even further. But the worst part is that we are not only killind the things around us, we are killing ourselves. As the Polar Ice Caps melt further than their water will seep into other countries eventually flooding the world. We are already drowning Polar Bears and other Arctic life, and we will soon be next. Getting a taste of our own medicine.

Uhm...there is no debate. It's real. I've been screaming it since 1988...so have many others. Even the supposed 'liberal' parts of society wanted to keep the status quo and allow corporations to do whatever they want. And, yeah...this includes Clinton with Gore as his VP. No different than Bush before him. Clinton signed into law the largest logging bill of our unlogged forests in history. All those trees that could have been soaking up CO2.
