usualy nerves are cause by hormones moving in your body so to redirect them and to help u relax theres a tool most actors do its really simple and alot of people say it works so all ave to do is clasp ur hands together to for a fist but with both hands together then squeeze your hands tightly that should help if it doesnt then just take deep breathes and relax and if its allowed keep ur speech on index cards that way u wont forget them...good luck!

If this is a continual problem that interferes with your ability to function and you're an adult, ask your doctor about a mild beta blocker. Some concert performers use them. But it needs to be a small dose of something like atenolol (half a 25mg tablet).

If you're a teenager, drink less caffeine (don't stop cold that day or you'll get a withdrawal headache) and do breathing exercises beforehand. Take in a deep breath, hold it for the count of ten and let it out slowly through pursed lips; repeat until you feel yourself relaxing.

Have good notes available that you can refer to if you get nervous. The more you make presentations and the better you know your material, the less nervous you'll be eventually.

Practice you material a lot especially your introduction. I competed in a Toastmasters contest and dealt with performance anxiety but I had practiced enough I knew my way through the material. When you start mentally pretend that you are practicing.

You should get in the mood or pretend like your best bud. If that doesn't work, think that no one is listening anyways so they aren't going to notice you make a mistake. Do you ever listen to someone else make a speach?
