That is the same thing. It is a stomach bacteria that can cause gastritis and uclers. It takes a combination of meds to get rid of it including bismuth (like in pepto bismol) and antibiotics. If you have it, bless your heart and hope you feel better soon.

Go to med.com or www.meds.com and then H.pylori, this is a common bacteria that causes gastric ulcers.
