Ezekiel speaks of Israel utilizing the captured bows, arrows, shields for years of fuel and not having to cut their own wood. Wouldn't this take a grand turn of events in weapons non-proliferation and reduction efforts? Or was Ezekiel writing in symbology?

Ezekiel was writing in fantasyland imagination-ology

These guys don't know anything, they are imagining or having a psychotic break or nervous breakdown and they feel that they have received some revelation from God, but these kinds of experiences are extremely subjective, which means they differ from person to person, and are very hard to find the meaning of, if indeed any actual meaning exists.

Or if he actually did know something and was trying to tell us he'd use his own terminology...bows and arrows he knew about. Nuclear weapons he did not know about.

According to my professors there will come a time when the use of weapons are not needed. The develop of weapons that destroy such a lasers and such will do away with physical weapons. When these are gone, the only thing left will be bows and such.

There are not to be wooden weapons, This will take place when the next U.S. President (10th king) is in office. This is the start of the 7th age, and the end of the 6th age, and it took place 1960 AD, since 1960 AD we have had 9 U.S. President and 7 Popes.

Believe in the Gospel of Jesus the Christ and in His Revelations.

It was all about deployment of the weapons used at the time the prophecy was written. Naturally, if any are left, any modern weapons would be used in an onslaught in the future.

Let's wait and see how this turns out.

The prophecies are the most amazing thing about the Bible, from the prophecy of the world kingdoms, to the prophecy of Alexander the Great, and especially the 300+ prophecies fulfilled in Jesus!

Like I said, Let's just wait and see how God will do this. It should be interesting.

Since the combatants are spirit creatures, physical weapons would have little value. So they would mean strongest weapons spirit creatures have.

Revelations speaks of Fire from God, and makes no mention of wood.

And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
