I prefer Sierra Nevada beers over New Belgium. Of all the mass produced craft beers Fat Tire is one of the best amber ales. I like their 1554 Brussels Black Ale better than Fat Tire though.

Yes. It's been around for awhile. You can usually find it in a liquor store. If you have one of those big jumbo liquor stores they should definately have it. I used to like Fat Tire, it's a good beer but I have gone off of it and prefer light beers now.

I think I had it in Utah, Moab to be exact. Beer is sold at gas stations, but because the place is so bass- ackwards, you have to go to a liquor shop to find th HARD STUFF...over 3% alcohol...I got mine at a restaurant. You really need to tell people where you are located for a more relevant response when you ask where to get something, other wise everyone will just tell you Walmart each time.

It is very popular in Colorado and out west.Unfortunately,I cannot find it anywhere on the East Coast or in the South.It tastes great.Wish we had it around here.I even went to a Fat Tire Festival last year in Frisco,Colorado.It was a lot of fun.

here in San Francisco area it is at every local grocery store and liquor store that sells alcoholic beverages.

It has not crossed the mississippi river too much yet. It is brewed in fort collins, CO. It is all over out west of the mississipi but not, too many places acrossed it... one exception is it is available in Chicago.....and very recently it has become available at a place called surdyk's in Minneaplois,MN

i really like the organic "mothership" kind. its damn good. my friend was able to pick some up at a place called cheers. if you cant find any there (i dont know if its a national thing or just regional) i would suggest mgm.
