i only bit them, but i did not swallow. and even if i did bit them, i forgot about biting nails.

No but it does break your nails, of course you could also contend that biting and swallowing your nails is cannibalism if you are too puritan that is.

Allah knows best, but the scholars say that brushing your teeth and making wuduu (rinsing the mouth) do not break your fast as long as you don't swallow anything. So with this I wouldn't think it would break your fast.
Anyways, this is a great month to reflect on the self and make changes and get rid of bad habits, so why not make the best of it? :-D

Yes, people in the wilderness can eat their nails for energy. But you only break your fast if you swallow them.

If chewing gum isn't allowed because it promotes the flow of saliva, I can't see how biting your nails is allowed.

I don't think nail biting breaks your fast but its better to obstain yourself from it. If you bite it unknowningly then its ok regardless.
