I don't think there is a way without bleaching. Sorry, I know it sucks. My hair is dark blonde and I wanted a vibrant blue streak. I got it bleached and then did the color and it turned out awesome! But it did fade after a few weeks to a very pale color. I tried the dye on my natural hair. It gave it a pale green-blue color and faded out very quickly. If you want anything vibrant, I'm afraid your only real choice is to bleach. You can always get the sections dyed back to your natural color, but I've never done that and don't know how well it would work. Good luck!

Basically chloe your only hope is a spray on temporary color.Unfortunately the darker your hair the less they will show.I know I have black hair. The only way the color will show good, especially purple is too hilight with bleach to a light blonde then put you manic panic color over it, putting the hair under a dryer with heat and a baggie locks the color in better making it not fade as fast. Also bleaching isn't the end of the world it would be easy to cover up later and go back to your natural color!Your only other option is colored hair extensions that you can clip in underneath your hair.Good Luck with Mom!

when i use red in my hair for lowlights, i use L'Oreal Excellence Hicolor Permanent Hair Color. it works in one application and you don't need to bleach before you use it. you can buy it at sally's beauty supply, but i'm not sure who else carries it. since you have dark brown hair you'll probably have to have a level 30 developer (if you don't know what i'm talking about just ask someone who works there and they'll help you!) i don't know what all colors that kind comes in, but its worth a try!
if that kind doesn't work then you can ask other people at sally's, they'd be the best help to you...or you could go get your hair done by a professional and explain to them that you can't use bleach in your hair.
hope i helped =]

Add hair extensions with those colors. Then you can take them out if you get tired of them and its less damaging then coloring!

Use a rinse repeatedly to lighten up the hair or add extensions.
