I think that All illegals deserve Human Rights like everyone deserves and they deserve the protection of the law and Due Process of law.

In general I think that is what they have a right to. No more no less.

Angel Primeau do you believe it is your right to not be thrown in jail or a prison camp and raped or tortured? Do you believe it is your right to be protected from criminals and illegal endangerment and exploitation?

They deserve the Human Rights that all human beings deserve , And they deserve the same rights that a U.S. citizen in Mexican custody gets . Most Americans do not know the laws of another country and believe they have the same rights every where ,In Mexico you are guilty until prov-en innocent, The Napoleonic Code.

I agree with King James. THe law is the law. If we are to say we need to deport them because they are illegal, we need to also say that they have rights according to the law. THe law does not specifically say that only Citizens have these rights , but states all people. I don't like the idea that some people seem to bend over backwards to prove we believe in their rights, though. THey need to be evaluated in the same light as any other people, and we should not have to feel the pressure of foreign entities when trying to obey the law.

I agree with Angel, they chose to break our laws and sneak across the border. We make them come here! As far as the US government is concerned, they don't exist. They are undocumented. They have no papers and NO identity. Why should Americans be responsible for what happens to them if we can't stop THEM from committing crimes against our own people?? It works both ways.

It's a double edged sword.

They deserve basic human rights. You can't beat, rape, murder, or mistreat someone just because they're an illegal immigrant. But I don't think the United States should go out of it's way to try & protect the rights of illegal immigrants. There are a lot of poor native-born American citizens who have tough lifes, & are mistreated in our society. We should care more about their rights then we should about illegal immigrant's rights.

i don't think anyone that comes here illegally should have any rights they should be deported back to the country of their origin and come here legally i know it's a long process but atleast when they commit a crime (if they are a bad person) they would be accounted for and have their own social without having to lie cheat and steal and have that hanging over their head. everyone thinks that they should have rights until you wake up one morning and realize someone else is using your social i know i wouldn't be happy about that. and when they come here legally they can get better jobs and not have any crime hanging over their head and they would be able to do tons more things and i also think that what they learn here they should take back to their country to better their own country and fight for the rights their like if they are from mexico they spend so much time here protesting why don't they protest their at their presidents feet and make him better their country

The right to turn around and go back,or get sent back. Why should they be afforded any process of the law when they don't FOLLOW the law.but they do deserve basic human rights, like some food and drink for the ride back, maybe a couple of potty stops on the way.

Before someone is protected by the law, they should first OBEY the law. And as human beings, illegals have the right to NOT live off the tax payers and to come to this country the legal way.

I think theres a big difference between Human Rights and the LAW. Yes they are Humans and they should'nt die just for crossing our border...BUT they should'nt get away with it either. Send them back. If there children were born here then let them claim their citizenship when there 18. Send them back. They should respect us enough to obey the laws we've set.
