When should you stop or give it a break?

Maximum how many hours per day is it suggested to spend on these activities for kids/adults, regarding the health of your eyes?

None of these activities can affect the health of your eyes, no matter how long you do them. Taking a break every 15 to 20mins, just look away then look back is a good idea.

For general body health and weight control, it is a good idea to get some exercise every day, so adults should spend an hour or two exercising (walking, running, gym, swimming etc) every day. Sitting too long at a desk can be hard on the back, be sure to take stand and stretch breaks too.

Kids need even more exercise, they should be outdoors instead of on the computer and watching TV. TV, computer chat and computer games are not mentally simulating or creative, so they should be limited in children for mental health and good brain development. Some suggest limiting TV and video/computer games to no more than 1 hour daily total for both activities added together.

I think I remember something that said to take a break from things like that every 15-30 minutes. I'm not sure about hours or eye damage, but yeahhh.
