the guy i like is always staring at me.
we're both sophomores, im shy and hes extremely shy. im pretty sure he knows i like him cause my friends blabbed it out to his friend, haha soooooo yeahh anyways....
today in class when i was going back to my seat from throwing something away, he was staring at me while i was walking back to my seat. AND he was staring at me when i was going back to my seat after coming back form the bathroom.
ALSO, we had a dance on friday and he was there and so was i and he kept staring at me all night and kept walking past me. idk do you think he likes me or what?
what should i do, i know i should talk to him but its not that easy idk what he thinks, guys are just REALLY hard to read espcially him cause shy.................. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Simpliest answer. Someone needs to make the first move. What's the worst that can happen? he says NO!?!? You are already prepared for that. What if he says yes. Sometimes you have to get out of your comfort zone and take a chance knowing it may not work. The walking by you is his way of tryin to get you so do something, ANYTHING. next time it happens, get in his way and say hi and start the conversation.

If he is shy, staring at you and going by you are probably signs he likes you but since he is shy, you will have to make the first move. He probably has low self esteem so making him feel noticed is another good thing. If he is smart, compliment him on that. If he isn't, help him out. Especially since you both like each other, I say start talking to him and suggest going to see a movie.

He definitely is interested.
I have asked 2 questions about the whole staring thing (going through about the same thing you are, only my guy isn't shy) and everyone says that staring is a key indicator that he likes you... Therefore, I'd say you're quite lucky! haha
Ask him about homework or something, then follow it up with an opinion about the class where he could continue talking. Then take it from there!

That's alot of staring! People have a natural and normal fear of rejection. If he is ultra-shy, do yourselves a favor and just break the ice by saying hello and chatting about something, i.e. school, the dance, courses, whatever seems appropriate. Take it from there, and remember is he is that shy, he may be difficult to talk to at first.

Well my current boyfriend is/was also very shy. He always stared at me and I found out later that he liked me. I can't say for sure if he likes u or not bcause everyone is different but there is a pretty good chance. Go for it, if he say no move on if he sais yes, then yaay. I know I was happy:)

If you are shy too just start a verbal greeting in the morning and see what happens. You dont have to ask him out but you can if you want its 2007. But just start some verbal small talk if he likes you it may be all he needs to get him talking to you.

I'm a shy guy too. I would recommend easing into asking him. Say hi to him during the day, small conversations, little things. And when the time is right you should go for it.

Guys that haven't had a lot of dating experience and especially younger guys still in high school are rarely sure of themselves with girls. Through what you said it looks like he has a crush on you but he may not be able to say it. You would make his day if you asked him out. Have no regrets.
