NO FUNERAL!
Ashes in a Quaker oat box, duck tape around the top with
"^ This end up ^" "Handle with care! Mother inside"
written on the tape, in Black magic marker!

Family would probably want me to have an open casket (for many, it's a part of the grieving process). I would like to be cremated AND buried. But not all of me. I'd like some cremains made into a diamond to be a family heirloom. Some placed in miniature urns for loved ones (like necklace size). And I want some scattered in New Orleans.
Can you tell I've thought about this?

You go Zina! I like that plan...
Yeah, def cremated, but not put in any container.... at least not forever. And DO NOT put me on the mantle.... I want my ashes tossed into the Pacific ocean off the coast of Cape Cod.
Oh but I do want a funeral... at least a wake....
I want lots of crying and stories of what a wonderful person I was too! I'll be watching to see who sends the best flowers too! LOL
Burial seems so morbid to me, unless you're an Egyptian. Then you'll need all that stuff in the afterlife. LOL

I'm Jewish; our tradition is that we are buried in a plain wood box with no metal parts, and no embalming. We do not have open-casket funerals, as we prefer to remember people as they were in life.

I want to be cremated on a funeral pier, away from the party that is going on in my honor with beer flowing, music blaring, people dancing and singing along and everyone talking about how big of an asshole I was in life but how much they loved me anyway.

Heated up to a high temperature and turned into a pair of diamond earrings.
Either that, or a Viking funeral on Dudley canal.........

Cremated. I didn't take up any space before I was born, why should I take up space after I'm dead?

Buried in a pet cemetery. No coffin, just wrap me in toilet paper and sprinkle liberally with flowers, and fill up the hole.
