What do you call "saved"?

I think what went wrong is that theology. Christ came to save the sinners in the Godhead elected from before the foundations of the world, not those whom he hoped would choose him. The latter concept is ridiculous

I don't know that anything went wrong, as the idea was that God would be incarnated as a man and sacrificed to save sinners. I would call "saved" being released from the journey to Hell and given the opportunity to live in Heaven after one's death. Whether anyone is saved, or whether Jesus saved anyone is another question: I hope they are and he did, but that's a matter of individual faith.

"The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

What do you mean, what went wrong? Jesus fulfilled His part- but providing the free gift of salvation for all who believe that Jesus paid the price that we could never pay.
Saved- is an individual that knows beyond a shadow of a doubt- that nothing he/she could do could ever earn eternal life. Saved people are people that have given their lives over to Jesus Christ. That does not mean that we will never sin again, it means that we are free from the power sin has over us- and that we can live righteously before Him. I was basically saved from myself and eternal separation from God.

You went wrong. God gave you free will and if you choose to not follow Jesus then don't say you weren't warned about the consequences.

People like you went wrong!! Saved is a new word for the old concept of Baptism since people assume all who are not Baptized will go to Hell which is a totally unbiblical idea.

I'm still waiting for your thoughts on the Bible verse.

Nothing went wrong. From the beginning of mans exsistence (Adam & Eve) God has given us free will. He did this because he does not want a bunch of Robots who must obey & worship Him but to have a people who choose to worship Him.
Also remember hell was NEVER made for man. Hell was made for satan & his minions. But it was made after the fall of Adam & Eve it was needed for those who rejected God.

What makes you think something went wrong? Seems to me everything went according to the plan. Even his very words on the cross were prophecied a thousand years prior to his death (Psalm 22) (Is 53)

Mankind started thinking for himself and making his own ways to live by.
Therefore--UNHAPPINESS.

Saved is freedom from old sin and so happy, and peaceful, and joyful, and FULL OF CONTENTMENT.

Saved is Jesus in your heart--JUST by asking to be forgiven of ALL the old stuff you have done that you KNOW was a sin.

I pray it for EVERYONE who reads this.

People want to live in sin and not accept Christ, they mock him and blasphem his name, such as when he first came,
being saved means to repent and live like Christ.
