Yes it is a good idea because (1) your working your muscles to make them stronger and plus if you only did your workout once in a while of course your going to hurt but it just mean's your getting stronger. An (2) your building your muscles so pain is the least thing you should worrie about okie days.

It is good to alternate work outs at first. Run every other day, and in between do strength training. Stretch and eat bananas if you are sore. At first you will hurt, but as time goes by your body will accomodate and you will not hurt as much and be able to run every day.

Yes. Often times when you feel sore its a build of acid in your muscles that should be flushed out with water. The next time you work out, even if you're sore, it can break up the acid, and relieve the pain.

It's good to an extent. For example, if you have been stretching before and after running, its just muscles that are forming. If you don't stretch, you're muscles are hurting and you should rest for a bit.

If you stop running.... your muscles will lose the little strenth you put into them.. Your brother is RIGHT. Until your body gets used to regular exercise, you're going to be in pain. Once you get your body in shape... this wont' be a problem anymore.

It depends on what kind of training you are doing. To build stamina, keep a little sore all the time. To tone muscle, let yourself heal.

i ran track. was quite good. it was always painful getting back in shape each year. then it would go away and i could make progress. virtually all great runners have to learn to run through the pain to gain. iit was just the same in my commado training. a little pain and a lifetime to remember. man up, soldier!!

U do not let muscles grow when they hurt. Pain was not invented by us, we only feel it, so be signalized in thoise cases not to run.

HaHa!! It is not a bad idea, it is just a bad feeling. Elite and competitive athletes train, exercise and compete whilst "aching". Recreational athletes do not need to. Your choice.

As long as your stretching properly before your run, it's fine.
Try not to give into the soreness.
No pain, no gain!
