Just tell her that you will be her friend even if she doesn't accept. Then tell her that God will love her even if she doesn't accept. Then see where she takes it. I like Romans Road when it comes for witnessing. Let the Spirit lead you, and let Him work in your friends heart. God Bless.

No trinity. The Bible would not say "God in 3 persons." Deuteronomy 4:35-39, John a million:a million-14, John 14:9, Colossians 2:9-10, I Timothy 3:sixteen. The trinity doctrine isn't properly proper with those verses.

I would get a couple of copies of "The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren and spend time reading & discussing it together with her. The book is very clear about who God is and what our purpose is here on this earth... it is easy to read and has scripture to back up every chapter. I highly recommend it to anyone. I also recommend the books written by Paul E Little - 1) Know What You Believe: Connecting Faith and Truth..... 2)
Know Why You Believe: Connecting Faith and Reason and..... 3) Know Who You Believe: The Magnificent Connection. All 4 books are available through Amazon.Com and they will help you articulate yourself and your faith to anyone you meet.

The trouble with using scriptures to try to convert people is that scriptures are intended for people that are already seeking God and looking for answers.
The best thing that we can do for unbelieving friends is to become a living example of the way that God can bless people's lives.
When people you know start noticing the difference and ask you "What's your secret?" then you've got an opening for further discussion.
I've actually started something along this line by encouraging all the members of my church to post blogs on our church site, telling their testimony and daily walk, and what God has done in their lives.
Since the best way to lead is by example, I started by posting my own story first. Here's the link...

There is no bible verse in existence that will persuade an atheist that has put any thought into it.
Think about it. Is there any passage that I could quote from Harry Potter that would persuade you that it was true?
What about the Iliad and Odyssey? What part could I quote to persuade you that Zeus and the Greek gods are real.
To an atheist the bible is just another book of mythological stories, like the Iliad, like the Norse sagas, etc.
Using the bible to prove that the god of the bible is true is dogma - a circular argument and has no standing at all.
Have you considered why you believe what you believe?

It is just my opinion but if your friend is an Atheist or a non-believer than quoting the bible will not have as much affect as if he/she is a believer. I truly believe that if you are a good person and not preachy to your friends...they will be able to see God in you and that is where you start....Let them come to you and want to know what do you have that gives you that glow, what is you have that keeps you going when life sucks...You don't need to preach God can reach others better through a good person who does not preach than a bossy, pushy preacher...trust me

Is 55:6,7 Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.

My favourite scripture is James 4:8- "Draw close to God and he will draw close to you", this scripture really helped me see how loving God is and made me want to follow his word and draw close to him.

Why do you assume knowing the Bible will draw her closer to God?
How do you know she isn't close to God already?
"Witnessing" is another word for prosletyzing. Leave your friend alone. If you can't be friends with people who feel differently about God than you do, you have problems.

"And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons shall be for the Lord by thy estimation. And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary. And if it be a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels. And if it be from five years old even unto twenty years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels. And if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver. And if it be from sixty years old and above; if it be a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels." (Leviticus 27:1-7)
