What did you do with that new found knowledge? Did you confront the person, or did you add yourself to their network and track all their questions?

I have always wondered what I would do, especially if the person had their dirt plastered all over YA. What would be the perfect thing to do?

I have never encountered anyone I knew on Yahoo! Answers. I have used information I gathered on Yahoo! Answers to figure out who a person was and meet that person only one time. And that was because we have a lot in common.

LOL

That's why I always delete my contacts and fans.

Why do you care so much? I wish I had the courage to lay more dirt about my ex-husband and his family. They soooooooo need to check into the nut house but I have no other way to force the issue. You want their contact info, contact me. You can blackmail them. I just want them busy so I can be happy with my new life and left alone in peace.

BTW, some people already take advantage of others anyway so your question is pointless. I do wish I could confront all the married people who admit to affairs and cheating. Gives marriage a bad name with the impression that everybody cheats which isn't true at all.

I have not discovered anyone that I knew. The perfect thing to do would be to do nothing. The effectiveness of this forum may be in the anonymity aspect of the identities and avatars. By exposing someone that you *think* you can identify you may only undermine the purpose of Y!A. I say, take the high road and keep mum.

Not on YA, but I did find a long-lost friend in Groups. Weird, huh?

But thanks for the advice of what to do should I ever find someone I know!
