The "BEST" gun in the World is the one you have in your hands, that, hopefully, you know how to use, when you really NEED one, like on that day coming soon, when the Hoplophobes in D.C. send the 'troops' around to try and 'collect' them all! ! !

What do you plan to do with it? Are you wanting to know people's opinions on rifles, pistols or shotguns? Then for what purpose? There is no such gun as the world's best gun for all purposes. You wouldn't use a pistol for shooting clay birds, you wouldn't use an .500 H&H rifle to hunt squirrels, etc. Go back and rethink your question and ask it an a way that can be answered.

God I get tired of these type of questions.
There is no such a gun. So you will have to work 3 jobs and buy every gun you see. Then shoot them all until your arm falls off. Then the one that you like the most is the best one.

A loaded one!.......Seriously though it depends on what you are using it for. I use a Marlin Guide Gun 45-70 for heavy duty knock down power hunting hogs. I have a awesome Mossberg model 500 Sporting 20 guage for brush hunting for deer season. Dropped a buck last year with one shot at 80 yds. I carry a 45 ACP for self protection. (delivery driver) and I also have a Taurus 454 Casull "Raging Bull" in a 44 mag with a 8.3 inch barrel that I also use for hogs.

The one you have when you need it. A bespoke 450 NE isn't going to do you much good if you're wanting to go dove hunting. The perfect 22 will get you killed if a cape buffalo is charging. Guns are tools, and the right tool is the one that's appropriate for the job at hand.

None, due to the fact type of gun is for some reason or another. It all depends on what ( since a gun is a tool) reason you're planning to use it for.

my favorite, the m14.If I could only have one gun,I'd probably go with an AK,or a mossberg 500.There is no best gun in the world.
