It's already happened. The mosque sits there peacefully on the same street year after year. Nothing unusual has happened since it was built.

Well in my village they would burn it down. When the local taxi rank went up for sale and Asians bought it, someone put a pigs head above the door. Says it all doesn't it?
I'm not bothered myself. We have a great kebab and pizza house. Nothing wrong with these people. The delivery man is gorgeous. But that's me. The rest are plain ignorant!!

I don't really mind... we already have one by the way. It is a free country.... we have a Synagogue too near by.. and lots of others usual ones... so it is not a problem. I would say it depends on the imam himself: if it is radical - no thanks. But we have a very nice educated person who didn't come down with his ideas from a little isolated village to change all World

I would let him build it. From what I know, US laws allow all kinds of people to walk on their soil; religious choice is a right for all who live here. What's the difference when it comes to Muslims. Many of you don't know that the leaders and followers of Al'Qaida have misinterpreted the words of the Qur'an because they are racist. Those who left messages like: "I'll protest" or "I'll slap him with a pork chop" are also racist and are the same as those of Al'Qaida. Do any of you even know any Muslims, Personally? Please don't let what you see on TV affect your views of Islamic people...I'm begging you.

I would find out who the general contractor is and find out who is hiring for electricians. Just they way I do when they build a church. It is just another religious building.

But, it would be a good opportunity to have a business that caters to them, such as incense and prayer rugs. Yeah, I would go into business with them, and still keep my personal faith.

I'd protest, along with the rest of my town. Too many mosques are being built with Saudi money and used to promote violence. We don't need any more home grown terrorists.

God Bless.

Taking the view that local councils and the government are afraid to offend any religion unless it is Christian you would have no legal way of stopping it
