I can do a accent just by watching pride and prejudice. My sister and I absentmindedly talk like we have English accents, how would we do in England?

most Americans who think they can in fact cannot. In all probability, you'll only wind up embarrassing yourself.

You might get away with the standard English accent in areas away from London. For example, if you landed in North Wales doing a posh accent, we'd just assume you were the English upper class. But if you do happen to land in a "posh" area, where that accent is common, you probably won't get away with it. It's the same when people try to imitate a South Walian accent. Fine anywhere but South Wales itself! People can rat out impostors of their own personal accent basically.
By the way, just to clarify that you are aware that there are many, many accents in England and the UK? Not just the one generic accent you can get away with anywhere!

Why would you want to? People can understand American English just fine in England, and you don't risk offending anyone. Remember also that there are various grades of accents ranging from Oxford to cockney that tell where you're from (much like here in the US), so ur going to invariably look foolish if someone asks you.

I am guessing you would be pegged as just another annoying American and might have people even thinking you were making fun of them. I know some American people with Southern accents do not like it when people try to sound like them so it would probably be the same.

English people probably would be thinking "Pity the poor American who is clueless about how bad their 'english' accent is." - they'd giggle about you once you were out of earshot but probably not take offence.
Youre not completely clear of trouble though...Many English people DO take offence at being called European. It would be like calling a Mexican "American" because Mexico is technically in "The Americas"

Sammy, if the Argentinians got here to Spain after changing random words to lead them to extra elementary and a some to lead them to extra complicated the Spanish would implode. in case you elect each and every thing to be so elementary as obtainable then supply up doing each and every thing and do in spite of the sunlight tells you. that's unusual. i individually have not got a voice in my head. possibly you will get that taken care of out. If i did it would be a Finnish accessory anyvay.

When I came back from 10 days in England, I had an excent for a while, but it fades away.
But DON'T fake it. You'll just end up making a fool of yourself.

Wouldn't it be better to learn how to master the diction first, before you attempt the complicated process of perfecting our much revered accent.
