My nephew is 9 years old and constantly has to pee, my sister dosn't know if hes just going in there because hes bored or does he really need to pee. In one hour he went 10 times is there a medical reason for this or is he faking it.

Why doesn't someone follow him into the bathroom!

If you were really worried about his health, wouldn't someone do that?

I would definitely follow my 10 year old into the bathroom, or at least listen at the door if I thought he had something wrong with him.

Or ask him! He is 9 years old and capable of answering a straight forward question.... "Are you really going, or are you messing around?"

What is his fluid intake? Does he complain of pain in his abdomen when he has to pee? Is he overly tired, fatigued? If you notice any of these problems get him to the doctor. If he has a bladder infection it can damage his kidneys if not detected in time. If he is drinking a lot of fluids and is tired and peeing a lot he could be showing signs of diabetes.
