I never met an ice cream I didn't love. To name a favorite would be difficult, but the one that popped in my mind was tutti fruiti, also called rum raisin.. In determining the quality of any brand of ice cream, I first try its vanilla. If the vanilla is good - the quality is good.

persian ice cream. You could make it by mixing rose water and alittle cardimon (spice )and little safferon( spice) that is disolved in a little bit of water . get a half gallon of french vanilla ice cream, let it soften a little. Then mix about 3/4 cup of rose water, just alittle (like tip of a teaspoon) cardimon powder (which is a middle eastern spice they use in pasteries) and few teaspoons of disolved safferon in warm water. you can buy safferon in trader joe's. mix all .if you like your icecream very sweet, you can mix a little powder sugar.
The ice cream mixture is going to be soft . Pour it in a covered container and refreeze. yum. It's ok if you put little more or less of anything.
