Question

Today my guy friend & I were about to go bike riding when his little brother asked if he could come to. My guy friend looked annoyed and when his mom came outside he made a really lame exuse for why his little brother shouldn't come: "he's gonna get hit by a car", although he already almost did & he explained that to his mom. but still, to me, that exuse just seemed a little lame. His brother ended up not going cuz his mom didn't want him to anyway. My friend usually looks kind of tense around me & is rather quiet, until we start laughing or after a while when he gets more comfortable I guess. He'll talk. He even asked me how being a freshman was. A lot of times, he'll say "let's go to your room". When we do, he sits on my bed and asks what I wanna do usually, or sometimes just walks around and looks at random stuff in my room. He never flirts or asks personal questions tho. by the way, he's 13. I'm 14.

yeah i think he's interested in you - he wanted you on your own, away from his little brother (who'd probably embarass him)

wouldn't get too hung up on the fact that he doesn't flirt - he's only 13, boys have trouble being GOOD flirts right through life (sorry to disappoint)....

try bringing the conversation round to dating - what type of girl he likes, things like that. if u interested, suggest cinema together but in a casual way that could be taken to be a friend date. then, if there is something between you, in the dark and where your comfortable, ou never know, you might find out for certain ;)

I think he has a crush on you and his mom knows seems like he's a shy one so if you like him your gonna have to make the first move ask him if he would like to go out for a movie or some thing or start with some thing smaller like say he has realy great hair or say you never realy noticed till not how cute he looks or say you want to tell him a secret and he has to promise not to laugh tell him you have this realy big crush on him he should open up then ! I think he likes you. All the signs are there. For instance, he doesn't want his little brother around, makes up lame excuses to prevent his brother from tagging along and he gets nervous when he is alone with you. All signs that the kid likes you and he is a perfect gentleman. Take it slow and enjoy his company and innocence. It is refreshing and you will know what I mean when you turn sixteen.

What are you wanting him to do? Don't try to interpret what he is saying to figure out if he likes you. You are both very young to be worried about what the other person is thinking. Have a good time with your friend, but don't try to make more of it. That may come later when you get older.

Sounds like he is shy but I'm sure you guys have developed a bond. Just go with the flow, maybe you should ask yourself do you like him and do you want him to like you back? Well, he could have a crush on you...or he could be the shy quiet type of person. I know quite a few people that will get 'tense and quiet' around nearly everyone because that's just their personality.

yeah he probably does. I'm 13 too, and if a guy acted like that around me I would think he would either like me or we were just really close friends. But judging by what you said, I'd say he likes you, but I;m not there to see so I'm not 100% sure.

Baby, I hate to say But I wish you werent even THINKING about this stuff at your age but since you are(and you do not have to answer any of my ?'s either for my response) but I do really thnk that this boy has feelings for you.....I am 27 an have been in your shoes tooooooo many times...Take it slow princess.It will all fall in place...I think hes feeling alittle new about his feelings. You have to remember He really dosent have much more experience at this age than you do. Besides girls mature faster than boys anyways..take your time it will happen....and if it dosent than trust me it will at the RIGHT time. DONT RUSH IT..
