I would like to know if your spouse or significant other doesn't put a NEW ROLL of toilet paper when you are almost out by the toilet, and when you go to use the bathroom guess what? You don't have any toilet paper to use. Does this drive anyone else crazy that some people don't put a new roll of toilet paper on the toliet paper holder, when they have used it all up?

I got so angry at my husband about not doing this I told him that the next time he does this,I will HIDE the toilet paper on him,so he can see what it feels like to be sitting on the toilet with no toilet paper and you have to yell for someone to get you some more toilet paper.

Why is it that SOME NOT ALL men cannot figure out how to put a NEW ROLL of toilet paper on the toilet paper holder, when they have used up all of the old toilet paper? This just drives me nuts when my husband does this, and it makes me so angry too because I just think that this is so inconsiderate when he does this!

ROFL, no worries, you aren't alone. My mother gets angry at us all the time for not doing it. She just learned to refill both bathrooms with a lot of toilet paper so that we don't run out as fast. I like the idea, but don't be too angry with him. Before you threatened to hide the toilet paper from him did he know that it bothered you this much?
*shrugs* If all else fails, make sure you take away the toilet paper when no one else will be home. Then he is royally screwed.

Yeah, that's annoying. Fortunately for us, our toilet paper is stored in a cabinet or drawer right by the toilet. We don't have to get up to get more if the other person forgets to put out a new roll. I like the idea of hiding it from him. Sometimes I think men honestly don't realize that we have to use it EVERY time we go, so it's something that we really need available at all times.

You can solve your anger by putting extra rolls of toilet paper next to the toilet. They have a holder for them that looks cute in your bathroom. Some holders look like animals with a long pole that holds 4 rolls.Or keep some close by .Saves you from getting mad.

You know what's funny? This is one of those things that's at the top of list to cause arguments between significant others.
I keep all the TP in the bathroom under the sink so that if he doesn't replace an empty roll I can get it myself. Some times he'll get a new roll but won't put it on the holder, but at least he got a new one out. It's annoying when you have to call for someone to get you TP. But you can avoid having to do that by preparing yourself for the fact that he might not be as organized as you. Don't be mad at him, do what you have to do to make sure you never run out. i.e check to see that there's TP before you sit down ;-)

It drives me crazy! Good to know I am not the only one that suffers from having to finish using the restroom only to find that there is no TP! It is terrible. OR! He never takes the old roll off the TP holder and replaces it with the new roll. He just places it on the counter NEXT to the toilet.

lol it could be worse really. In our downstairs bathroom off the kitchen we cant keep toliet paper on the roll our 16 month old son will unroll it so we keep it where he cant reach it and my husband will still not put a new roll there when its all used up. In order for me to not have to "yell for a new roll" I check the supplies in all our bathrooms twice a week and restock as needed. One time I left my husband upstairs in our bathroom screaming for me and a new roll while I took our son outside, claimed I didnt hear him. Now he too checks for toliet paper.

You know, I'm with Dawn B. Life is too short. One of my best friends was always a meticulous housekeeper and tended to obsess over her house a bit (not that the TP issue is exactly obsessing). But you know what? When she spent a year in and out of the hospital w/ her 7 yr old son who had brain cancer (& died) she reassessed her priorities.

Whenever I buy TP, I just stack 1-2 rolls on top of the toilets in the house.

Sweetie trust me, NO MAN puts on the new toilet paper roll! I totally hide it from my hubby too! It makes me nuts! I will leave it off of the roll or hide it in my makeup bag just so that he has no idea where it is. How silly are we?????

It's like finding the 10th pair of socks next to the lazyboy chair. LOL Good luck getting him to stop...just keep hiding it...LOL

I solved that by having extras on a TP stand next to the toilet so even if he doesn't replace it, there is one handy. It takes too much energy to get angry over the small stuff. I look for other solutions.
