If so, how? Please feel free to speak to me as if I am an idiot and/or 4 year old.

Pls download a trial version of "Solid Converter PDF" and this will work fine.

Be remembered - this will work fine only on "MS Excel converted to .pdf file".

The best s/w for the job is, however, "ABBYY Fine Reader".The current version, as far as I know is - 8.0

If you don't own the "real" adobe program "Adobe Acrobat" then you can only MAYBE cut & paste from the document to Excel. If you have Adobe Acrobat (not the reader, but the actual program) you can manipulate these files better.

If you can't do that, try to dowload a trial of a 3rd party utility, a quick google search found this one:

set up Acrobat Reader & author. it somewhat is going to look in printers, Now in basic terms deliver print and choose the Adobe Acrobat Printer from MS. word or the different applicaiton. it somewhat is going to ask for record call and placement to be stored. This record would be in the PDF format.
