Depression is real, believe me. You don't believe in it yet you have all the symptoms? I think you need to go to see someone, before you turn into an adult with none real depression!

It's not a matter of believing in it. And you're not making any of this up. Depression is a very real and serious illness. And you can get it even though you're young. The best thing to do is to please speak to a doctor. You do not need to suffer silently. In fact, it's very important that you take the necessary steps to deal with depression. It's terrible to feel this way and there is lots of help available. There is no ONE specific way to deal with depression, so you have many choices. There's always the conventional method of drugs and therapy, but there are other ways like herbal remedies for depression, hypnosis, yoga etc. The best advice I can give you is to do your own research. If you take an active part in what is happening to you, you will be equipped with all you need to tackle the problem. Bottom line? Depression is treatable, so start your journey towards feeling better. You can do this.

Depression is real, and it caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain. There is too little serotonin in your brain usually when you are depressed. You should definitely talk to someone about it, your parents or a psychologist. While medications may not be the best option at this time, you still have time to get better. Please talk to someone whether it is professional therapy or not. You'll get through this if you can figure out what is causing it in your environment. Depression does have the biological basis of chemical imbalance, but it is often also due to your environment.

It is real and there are different forms of it. I have suffered with it for many years. It is a disease and can be treated. Make an appointment with your doctor and when you book it tell them you need extra time to talk. If he/she is any good they will be able to confirm it. Thyroid problems can have the same symptoms, but I am not sure how extensive they are. If the doctor recommends anti-depressants they will take awhile to work, so the sooner you make the appointment the better. Everyone does not necessarily need a psychiatrist, or psychologist, but you do need someone you can trust who will listen to you. If your doctor doesn't want to spend time with you ask for a referral. Good luck.

yes! definitely depression is real. I went through high school feeling like that and not until I left home for college did it cause me to be almost completely bedridden. I knew something was wrong and I finally went to a psychiatrist- turned out I had anxiety and depression. The psychiatrist helped mainly with medications but the most beneficial thing for me was going to a therapist once a week and just talking. She was completely unbiased and it helped me to know what the underlying cause was. That's my suggestion

for sure that's... every person who says its no longer has in no way been depressed. Its a chemical imbalance, its no longer purely a glum temper that lasts extra suitable than an afternoon. people who bypass 'Ohh Im so depressseeeddd that my hair didnt look marvelous to day' they make me so mad. that may no longer melancholy. Thats being somewhat glum. melancholy is whilst no longer something is incorrect, you purely experience terrible each and all of the time Dont prefer to get away from mattress (no longer a oh i choose a lie in form of way, in a I dont think of i will face the day style of way) I dont get any entertainment out of something. I dont prefer to do something nutrients even tastes distinctive, each and every thing is gray. some human beings assume their melancholy is by using the fact they're grotesque or issues like that, yet then in the event that they get surgical treatment etc or they lose the burden, they nonetheless dont experience distinctive because of the fact its no longer that in the time of any respect. and people who do experience extra suitable after surgical treatment etc in no way had melancholy first of all. the medicine they prescribe is serotonin, the 'happy chemical' depressed peoples brains dont secret sufficient of it.

Depression is a real disease! I'm very familiar with the symptoms of adult depression and you list just about every one! If you were my daughter I'd get you in for treatment right away. Don't laugh at your feelings--take them seriously. It's hard sometimes to find the energy to do something about depression, I know, but there are treatments available.

Anyone can get depression, but I think you need to see your doctor for a complete check up to make sure you don't have a hormone imbalance, or your sugar level is in check first. Tell the doctor how you are feeling, & ask for a complete physical because it couldn't hurt, & this way you will know if the rest of your body is in balance.

feeling like you are not worthy to reach out, is another symptom of depression...what I'd like to know, is who is making you feel this way? What happened in your life, to make you feel so sad all the time..truly, look deeply and put the blame where it belongs, and not on you...I have a feeling you have been violated, and can't seem to get the kind of love and understanding, and validation you deserve and need...go talk to a trusting adult at school..and let it all out once and for all, and let those responsible for your pain,...get what they deserve
