Here is a fun game for a group of toddlers. Its called Doggy Doggy Where's Your Bone. Have a kids sit on the floor and put a chair facing the opposite direction in front of them with one of the kids seated in the chair. Put a bone or something that looks like a bone under the chair. Quietly instruct one of the kids to take the bone and sit on it or put it behind their back. Then have all the kids sing "Doggy Doggy where's your bone, somebody took it from your home" the child sitting in the chair turns around and has to guess who took the bone. They get three chances and if they don't get it right the child who has the bone gets to be the doggy.

Another game that kids love to play is Sleepy Little Rabbits. Have all the kids lie down on the floor pretending to be sleeping little rabbits. Sing this song very gently "Sleepy little rabbits soon it will be noon and I will wake you with a merry tune" then shout "WAKE UP LITTLE RABBITS WAKE UP WAKE UP, HOP LITTLE RABBITS HOP HOP HOP, HOP LITTLE RABBITS HOP HOP HOP, HOP LITTLE RABBITS HOP AND STOP!". Then tell the little rabbits to go back to sleep and do it over and over again.

I have an 18 month old, and here are some of the things we do: when I'm cooking, I give her a pan and a spoon and let her "stir" whatever it is she's "cooking" on the floor, she loves dress-up with our clothes (helps her learn to dress herself by putting them on and taking them off), peek-a-boo, talking on (old) cell phones to each other, tickle monster, play together with her babies and cars and other toys, roll a ball back and forth, and she's starting to really love hiding. Hope this helps.

I agree, boxes can be fun. You can even cut holes and paint it like a house or let them arrange small pieces of furniture and put a blanket over it to build a fort. They'll sit in there for hours with toys, I know I did.
