Last week, I called out that Bowyer was the sleeper, and I am not saying I told you so, but to all those who criticized me, on the basis that Bowyer was not a threat because he had no regular season wins, I hope you now understand why I picked him to be the major upset this year. To understand why, you must first understand Clint Bowyer, and his ability to focus under pressure in his racing days pre-NASCAR.

To all, again thanks for your opinions, I like reading this stuff, Fluffy, it would not have mattered where Kennseth or anyone else qualified for that matter, Bowyer had the most CONSISTANT and FAST laps all day, and with the COT, it is going to be all about consistancy. To make it clear, I am not a Bowyer fan, I am an Earnhardt fan, but I have watched Bowyer, for several years now, you will see the kids talent in the weeks to come, and not necessarily the talent to drive, but the talent to drive when it is all on the line, that is the difference, yeah he got nervous, but hey Steward and Gordon and all those guys went through the same thing...you dont believe it, go read their interviews, if you have never raced, then you will never understand how it feels with 20 to go, and your all alone, seconds ahead, it is worse than being 4 wide heading into a corner.
