Won't using logic weed out the weaker christians, but create a stronger, more logic-resistant strain of christian?

Observe the effects of insecticide on roaches - it creates stronger, more poison-resistant roaches.

Well, the other option is to make the educational system so bad that the vast majority of the population is incapable of following a logical argument.

That seems to be the general trend over the past 3 decades.

Never really thought of it that way, but you might very well be correct. Maybe that's why all my brilliant arguments seem to be falling on deaf ears. I'm trying to reach the new logic-resistant strain of Christian, toughened by previous generations of atheists picking off the easy prey. No wonder! That also explains exactly why they're nearly immune to public education, as well. The new, more evolved Christian is much more resistant to logic and far more immune to education than ever before. Nothing rational can even touch them. Now why do you suppose they STILL refuse believe in evolution?

The use of logic isn't an inherited trait. Neither is Christianity, it just appears that way because of freedom-hating jerks who indoctrinate children.
The use of logic would essentially eradicate Christianity. Logical Christians would have to adopt the assumption that a supernatural being doesn't exist unless significant valid, logically consistent evidence can be produced.

It goes both ways. Soon, there will be a mega war between super-poison-resistant Christians and super-preaching-resistant Atheists. It is sort of like the Transformers movie.

You may consider intelligence similar to insecticide, but there are those of us out here who still wish to think no matter the consequences.

Yes, but hopefully those stronger Christians will actually have a basis for their beliefs (one can always dream, right?)

It might, but so far there is no evidence to support your hypothesis - if anything it would seem to have the reverse effect.

Christians have always been logic resistant.

Come to think of it, doesn't that prove creationism? Dohh!!
